Sorry I am late putting this post out.  Hopefully you follow me on YouTube.  The video has been posted for the last few days.  It will be listed  below also if you haven’t seen it.  Please follow.  I will occasional post videos that don’t get blog post.  This is the last month to get items from the current Stampin Up.  The items that aren’t caring over to the new catalog are listed on the retiring list.  This includes all the designer papers and ribbons!  There are still a some left if you act quickly.  Lots of items are marked down!!!!  Stamps are guaranteed to keep making until May 22, then will be until sold out.

This months Sweet Treat Features JARS OF LOVE.  This is a lovely stamp set that is being carried over to the new catalog and is very versatile.  And what is great you can make shaker cards with the thinlits.  I have included in the sweet treat, but you are going to want to invest in this your self.  It is so much fun!!!    Now the sweet treat is using some dsp that was still available when I typed this but there is some great papers coming out, but trust me you want the paper that on sale too!!   I will link it below if I can.    Oh there is a bonus,  I went to Onstage in April and received a Special Upcoming Stamp and You will receive a Tag made by Me with this Cute Little Piggy On it!

Watermelon Wonder Shaker Card:   Base 8 1/2 x 5  1/2, fold in half at 4 1/4.  Secure window sheet to backside of designer paper. Glue the jar lid to the front of the designer paper.  Stamp the large jar onto window sheet from the front of the designer paper(3 3/4 x 5).  Make sure to use archival ink, and stamp gingerly, not to wiggle it can smudge easily.   Then you can pick any greeting that fits in the jar, I used Hello.  I carefully lined up this layer to the white layer(4 x 5 1/4) to see where I could stamp the fish, if you need to place a dot or something in pencil you can or eyeball it.  Then when you know all the black ink is dry place foam strips on the back of the designer paper.  Place your sequins on the white base.  Then attach your designer paper.  Wrap the ribbon around the bottom and tie a bow in he front.  Then attach this to the card base.

Mint Maccaroon Card: Base 8 1/2 x 5  1/2, fold in half at 4 1/4.  Layer designer paper to card base 5 1/4 x 4. Attach white strip at bottom, (5 x 1 1/2) then layer designer strip on top of white paper, (4 3/4 x 1 1/4).  Stamp medium jar stamp to jar cut out, I used smokey slate ink, then attached it to card.  I stamped leaf stems to jar.  Then I picked the colors I wanted for flower blooms, stamp off first for the solid image then the die cut to get a lighter color, then stamp the accent pieces without stamping it off.  Then Pick a greeting for the banner, I used watermelon wonder for the cardstock , so I used the same ink to stamp in. also to stamp the bow to further accent the bow.  I also used a marker to add more to the jar like the ribbon was going around the jar. This completes the second Jar.
