Lolli flowers

Here are my version of Lolli flowers.   I was watching GoingCriCrazy, video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L6m1_js_zo.   I bought 1/4 yard of each fabric.   I made a 8 1/2 x 11 template of just different size circles and then pinned to the fabric and cut out.   I sat and did this while watching you tube, so he went fairly quickly.  I placed each circle largest to smallest and used a brad to hold together, then used my heat gun to warm up.  Each one is a little diffent and you can heat more or less depending on the look.  I bought costume satin at my micheals, think it was like 3.99 a yard.   I got 7 flowers out of each 1/4 yard and still have some left over.  Now someone sent me some fabric that I thought had satin in it, but apparently did not, becuase it would not curl up any, just burned the fabric.  So I think you have to have some Rayon or Satin in the fabric to get it to work.  I ended up with over 80 flower in just 3-4 hour time.   Great for stashing and using when you want something quick.
