Scrapbooking

Baby Mini Album, Super Cute, but lots of work!

Well Kirsti ask me to make her friend a baby book, I said sure no problem. But I had not made a baby book in a long time. Hers was the last one, 5 years ago, when I first started paper crafting and didn’t know much. Did things pretty simple. Honestly I don’t even remember what her book looked like to be honest, so many projects ago. Before I took pictures of things even. So I thought I got this I make great things this book will be a snap, I did a google search for mini album patterns, found a gal with a YouTube channel and Etsy store. Liked her sample album . It was a five page book with flip out interactive pages. I thought this will make a great album. But of course things happen and life gets in the way and then the project is much bigger than you realize. But in the end I was very happy that I had done the Album. It turned out pretty nice I think.

I was on the fence about placing mats for photos or just leave the pages bare. In the YouTube video I watched by the creator of her sample, she left her pages blank without photo mats, but not knowing the person I was giving it to, if they scrap or not. I felt it was easier to embellish and place the mats. I did write in pencil also size of photos to cut to make it easier. I have lots of photo space and space for journalling. I did leave the tags in the middle blank on both sides, so that will be up to her to decide what to do.

Here is a video showing you the album. Just easier than trying to take photos. Hope you enjoy. I did go thru a lot of Pool Party paper. Used up some retired product I had in my stash and got some use out of the new baby stamps in the current Annual Catalog. Did use up some old product from days prior to Stampin Up, so not bad deal I guess. Enjoy and feel free to comment, last day to enter my Birthday Giveaway.
