Sweet Songbirds May 2022 Sweet Treat Card Tutorial -

With a new catalog comes fresh new stamps. I have a soft sport for cutsey stamps, so these guys were first on the list! I have lots of plans and thoughts swirling for these birds! This little kit is a great way to treat customers and kick off the new catalog!. I hope the following tutorial is helpful to all.

1. Thick Basic White 8 1/2 in x 5 1/2 in folded in half vertically.
2. Starry Sky 4 in x 5 1/4 in ran thru Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to front of card base.
3. Using Fabulous Frames Tahitian Tide is cut out with the largest photo frame and attached to card base with foam strips.
4. Then using the 2 piece Fabulous Frame, that has rectangle to stamp in . Stamp bird nest with Sahara Sand. (Leave enough space to stamp sentiment underneath nest). Then cover with mask and Ink large bird with Starry Sky ink, stamp off and then stamp in nest. Beak is stamped with Sahara Sand and eyes in Tuxedo Black. Then wing is stamped by inked off and then stamped.
5. Single lined sentiment is stamped below next in black ink.
6. Outer White Frame is adhered down with cut foam strips at top and bottom of frame.
7. Adhere inner stamped image flat down to card front, inside frame.

1. Starry Sky 8 1/2 in x 5 1/2 in folded horizontally.
2. Layer basic white 4 in x 5 1/4 inside card.
3. On Basic White largest Stitched Square stamp tree limb with smaller of the two birds on limb in starry sky. In black ink I stamped legs, eyes and music notes on stitched square. Leaves are stamped in Parakeet Party.
4. Sentiment is stamped in Starry Sky on Stitched Banner.
5. Attach stamped image at angle to right side on 4 in x 5 1/4 Tahitian Tide that has been ran thru Dots & Spots Die.
6. 1/2 in x 3 strip of Tea Boutique DSP that banner has cut out is placed under stitched square at slight angle.
7. Loop 5 in of Metallic Ribbon of Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide and place behind Sentiment Label. Then attach this with dimentionals at an angle to top left side of stitched square.
8. Then I used multi purpose glue on back side of the dots and spots layer to attach this to the card base.
