Spooky Cat Swapping this Month
I started my Swap 6 group back up this month. If you can ever participate in swaps they are great! This was a perfect swap for me because you swap 6 cards for 6 months by the 6th of the month. Easy Peasy! I love my team swaps but usually have to make 20-25 cards for that, and don’t always feel the love for that. But I can’t rember which team mate it was, but it was on group page that I saw this card, I varied up the papers, but I loved the idea. I had to have this punch the moment I saw it, because my daughters nickname is Cat! This punch will be great outside Halloween, I have seen some great designs colored, stamped, designer paper. Ideas are really limitless. But for now having fun with the Spooky Designer Series paper also and made this fun card and lots of Cats!
A2 sized card, 5 1/2 x 8 /12 folded at 4 1/4 of very vanilla. Layer a base of basic black 4 x 5 1/4. Then build your layer of pumpkin pie 3 3/4 x 5 with 1 1/4 x 5 layer of dsp at the top and a 1 x 5 in that you will stamp with your sentiment, I used trick or treat and the mouse, but Happy Halloween is in the stamp set also. I tucked this piece up under the dsp, so less than an inch is actually showing. Then I took the crochet trim across the seam and wrapped securing behind the pumpkin pie. Then you tape all this to the black. Now I stamped the cat image from the stamp set on a vanilla card stock and punched it out then punched out 4 more cats from various dsp patterns. The cat on the dsp will cut with the punch. I fussy cut a hat from the dsp. The glue the cats across the bottom, layering them slightly over each other. Placing the hat on one of them, with a dementuonal. Below is the video also.
Here will be the supplies used. And the store is always open 24/7.
