Sea of Texture Class Card

Well this is another card we did in my card class this past week.  I had intended to make a video for you, but my laryngitis has turned into pneumonia and I still have no voice.  So I am going to go a head and post the instructions I gave my class.  Hopefully I will get a voice and make the third card later next week because it will be much easier to explain with a video.  Thanks for staying with me.

I just absolutely loved this set from the moment I first saw it on the Preview list at onstage.   It was one of the first sets I bought.  This is the first of many cards I am planning with it.  I actually made another card I was going to use for my class but it ended up with to many steps, so that will be another video.  I hope you enjoy this card as much as I have,  this is must set for anyone who love the sea or beach.

1. Whisper white card base is 8 1/2 in  x 5 1/2 folded in half at 4 1/4.
2. Highland heather 4 in x 5 1/4 layered on top.
3. Soft sea foam 3 3/4 in x 5 layered on top of card.
4. Stamp coral scene  at bottom of the card. I used Tranquil Tide to stamp the tall vine, on the right side of the card.  Ink stamp, then stamp again to get 2 different shades of stamping, did this twice to have 4 images.
5.  On the very bottom stamped the sand or netting looking image in soft sea foam across bottom.
6. Stamped small coral calypso coral and large coral in balmy blue.
7.  Large net is die cut in copper foil with adhesive sheet attached to the back and is adhered to toward the top left side.
8.  On the circle vellum, take versa mark and stamp octopus  and pour white embossing powder, dust off extra powder.  Heat set with heat gun gently to not burn vellum.  Attach vellum to card, I used fine tip glue on back where octopus is.
9.  Sentiment is stamped a label from Lakeside framelits.  I stamped to the left and cut off the edge, as to line it up on the right side top of the card using dimentionals.
