Lovely as a Tree Winter Cards
Here are the Cards we made in my Local Class for the Month of December. Really Love how they turned out. You could easily make into Christmas Cards or any occasion.
My first card using early espresso for the base card is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Folded to 4 1/4. Has gol glimmer at 4 x 5 1/4 then using crumb cake layer that is 3 3/4 x 5 you will stamp with the background stamp hardwood, when layering this on the glimmer you want to place your ribbon at the bottom first and then use tear away tape or some people have said the fast fuse will work because very little tapes will stick well. Then I stamped my tree on the stitched circle which was applied to a glimmer scalloped circle. This was popped up. I used the white Reinker placed on a block that was watered down a little and a paint brush and flicked drops to look like snow on the card. Then stamped on my banner I punched out for the sentiment.
Second card is on Whisper White base is 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 Folded to 4 1/4. Has silver foil at 4 x 5 1/4. Then white layer 3 3/4 x 5 has been run with Softly Falling embossing folder. Layered on top, after applying silver ribbon to top. Stamping the row of trees to small Sheet of Thick whisper whit 4 1/2 x 2 1/2. Mask off the bottom of the trees from snow layer below and then begin sponging above the snow layer with blues, I used island indigo, navy blue, marina mist. Remove mask and cut panels into thirds at 1 7/16. Place on layer of silver foil 4 3/4 x 2 3/4. Pop up on white embossed piece. Place sentiment if like.
