Lillypad Lake -

Lilypad Lake Stamp Set with framlets is a lovely scene building set. This card style allows you to add some fun in setting up a scene and making your card interactive also. There is texture, and warmth throughout.

1. This cardbase is cut 4 1/4 x 11, then scored at 2 3/4 and 5 1/2.
2. I measured in an 1 1/2 in spot on my solfly Falling embossing folder and placed washi going across, so that I could line my paper up to that spot. I only want the 1 1/2 edge of each side of my tranquil tide base with the embossing folder.
3. Cut pool party 3 x 9in then score at 3 and 6.
4. You will need 2 white and 1 DSP squares that are 2 3/4 x 2 3/4.
5. A). First white I sponged Soft suede with the dauber, high enough to go just above the cut out piece of crumb cake “sand”. (This is the wave piece in framelits that you want to put adhesive piece on first before cutting out to make life simpler). Apply the sand wave to stamped area, then cut edges off to make white square.
B). Stamp Crane, then color if you would like or leave him. You might need to used black marker to fill in legs over sand area if this bothers you.
C). Stamp Sun right top corner and color.
D). Apply square to first pool party square on left side.
6. DSP. Gets applied to middle pool party square.
7. A). Using wave stamp, Stamp pool party ink to bottom of next white square.
B). Stamp Lilypad to top of water and color in.
C). Place square to last open area on pool party strip.
8. Fold pieces of tranquil tide and pool party at there score marks.
9. You want to secure the left side of the pool part to the are just in front of the first fold on the card base, then the end of the pool party will secure to the end of the card base, so when you close the card base they will fold together.
10. Tie your Night of Navy twine on the seem line of the embossing folder at the start of the card and make a bow on top.
