February Sweet Treats using Heartfelt Blooms
First Card: Silver
Using 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 whisper white cardstock folded in half at the 4 1/4 side. your silver glimmer piece measures 5 1/4 x 4 is layered on top of the folded bases. Before applying the next white piece that is is 5 x 3 3/4 til are going to stamp it with the Heartfelt blooms image ( or choose any other image you like). I am using Smokey Slate ink, but I stamp off first before stamping onto the panel piece so that I have a lighter image. Now I have chose to stamp 3 times on my piece. This makes my own back ground image, so depending on what kind of image you choose depends on how many times you want to stamp your image.
You need to attach both your stamped images to the glimmer paper with fast fuse or tear away tape. Snail adhesive won’t stick, haven’t had good luck with liquid glue either. Now I popped up my scallop circle to the background panel with dimentials.
I stamped Thank You on Smokey Slate, but used Basic Grey ink, and cut out a banner, ( I am giving you both a banner cut out and a piece to cut out on your own. I attached with demential also. Now I can tie my bow on my ribbon and my card is done.
Color Pencil Card
Very Vanilla Base is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded at 4 1/4. Has early Expresso layer that is 5 1/4 x 4.
Before attaching the piece of DSP from Delightful Daisy, I added a piece of 1/8 gold ribbon that I wrapped and tied a bow on the left side.
I cut out largest Label from framelits set. I trimmed the edge off the right side of the label to give me a straight edge to line up with my card later. I then ink the stamp set up with Crumb Cake ink and colored with my Water color Pencils. Using the Early Expresso ink I stamped the thing of you sentiment to the Left side. I then applied dementials and placed the label to the right side of the card.
This card is simple and beautiful.
