Asian Brusho
These cards were inspired when my class was looking over swap cards I received in a leader swap. I had cased this from a fellow team member, and Im sorry the name is missing from the card to give credit. So after my attempts at playing with my newly acquired brush, I tweeked the card some so here my versions. My stamp class wanted to make these cards and I was hoping to make a video, but time has gotten away from me. I hope the instructions are enough. the new catalog has brush so videos will be coming. thanks.
1. Starts with whisper white base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 folded 4 1/4. Depending on which card you prefer card will be horizontal or vertical.
2. Spending on which card you want to make your layer will be island indigo or always artichoke at 4x 5 1/4. Place on front of folded card base.
3. Time to play with some Brusho which is watercolor crystals. So I played with these in a couple different ways. For the technique I tapped the brush over a piece of shimmer paper 3 3/4 x 5. ( The key with brush is to not open lid. Place thumb tac in top making 1 little hole, this way only tiny amounts come out. And your brusho will last a long time. ) I then used stamping spritzers for a couple squirts dapped off with paper towel, then squirt again dapped off again. Do this until you have the look you want. I did not have to have any other brush.
4. After you have the background look then take inked of choose, island indigo or always artichoke and a sponge robber or stamping sponge and sponge the edges of shimmer paper.
5. Choose Image from Artistically Asian and stamp on background. Wrap silver thread for island indigo card and old olive twine around card. You will be positioning sentiment later. Secure to card base front.
6. Stamp sentiment of choice from stamp set on 2 1/4 x 3/4 shimmer paper, layer this on glimmer paper 2 1/2 x 1. Then position this on card front.
