2 new challanges
Well I really wanted to work on doing some challanges this weekend. And I hope it is ok, but I combined 2 of the challanges. There challange was to make a snowman from Winter Frolick, unfortunetly I don’t have that cartridge, So I used my black friday purchase Jolly Holidays. I added ear muffs so he looked more like the winter frolick snowman. I am submitting this on a new blog called “Flaunt It Fridays” has started and I think this was there first challange. They also had a great blog hop this weekend if you get a chance to look at it.
They are at www.flauntitfridays.blogspot.com
Secondly I have started to subscribe to Cooking with Cricut, Have done one other challange with them, (and my dtr did the last one I did and one a cartridge, YEAH). I have choose layouts with them, figure it is a good way to get some of my loose pictures scrapped. There Challange was “beginning to look like Christmas” they wanted something that commemorated the season. Well I found these pictures of my kids playing in the snow. We were living in Washington State at the time, and they loved it. Thought the new snowmen from Jolly Holidays was perfect for this. Hope you all enjoy.
My snowmen were cut at 3 1/2 and 4 inches. There arms were very fragile even at this size. I couldn’t cut out layers to hide the faces, so I only cut the one cut and then used stickles to fill in the areas I would have been colored. Wow I just realized I gave them no buttons on there bellies. Man I will have to remember to fix. Oh, well Enjoy.
